A heart felt thank you to the ten residents under the direction of Amanda Savage, Activities Connection Director, of Juniper Village, an assisted living residence in Chatham, NJ, who recently stuffed and stitched a dozen pressure pillows for our wounded military personnel. These pillows will be sent by Operation Jersey Cares to the patients of Walter Reed Hospital in Maryland.
The pressure pillows were constructed beautifully by these ladies who have an average age of 88 years young! Ms. Savage stated that they are eager to begin their next batch.
