Why you should join the Event

Come join us for an evening of laughter, as the Soldier Support Club of Hunterdon Central hosts a comedy show February 2nd, 2024. Doors open at 6:30pm in the Hunterdon Central Regional High School Auditorium with a show start time of 7pm. Our family friendly comedy will be provided by veterans of all branches of our military. Responsibility of the humor in our show is that of Operation Jersey Cares. Our performances will include bits by Linette Palladino, Rich Carucci, James Mac, Ed Smith, Mike Egan and Brad Lowery. Tickets will be $20 with all proceeds benefiting the mission of Operation Jersey Cares, a non profit organization, who supports our actively deployed military, veterans and loyal military families. iNFORMATIONGet to know the comedians

Ed Smyth is an unique comic who serves up an absurdist and silly string of brain-twisty characters and bits: Moe Bot the Comedy Robot, Bronco Brad The Croonin' Cowboy, Oog Son of Ahg 30,000 BC, and more. He performed a weeklong show at the Rochester Virtual Fringe Festival in 2020, and has been a regular at the Finger Lakes Comedy Festival since 2016. He produces two feature shows: "Geek Comedy Hour", a one hour-long comedy show, and the "Bronco Brad Dang Tootin' Good Time Show", featuring Bronco Brad and a host of other characters and live guests. He can perform for any age audiences with adult friendly ingredients and family friendly language.

ED SMYTH

Mike Egan has more than twenty-five years of stage experience and has made his mark from coast to coast and beyond. You can catch him regularly in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. He spent years as the mc/host/creative director of famed New York City hot spots like Catch A Rising Star and Dangerfield. He has also enjoyed a stellar career in radio where his quick wit and ability to ad-lib earned him the coveted morning show for a number of different stations in the New York metropolitan area. Currently he is in demand at comedy clubs, corporate events, and everywhere great comedy is available.

Mike Egan

James Mac is a Veteran Stand Up working in the NYC tri- state area. He has traveled all over the world and brings those unique experiences to the mic. James has been featured on multiple national podcasts, festivals, clubs, and shows all over the US.

JAMES MAC

Rich Carucci is a fan of comedy. He is a second generation comedian who's grandfather was a vaudeville song/dance & comedy act. Rich was a childhood actor who appeared on several Chef Boyardee commercials, off Broadway plays and The 1972 Ed Sullivan Easter Special,'Clowning Around" with singer Tiny Tim, actress Lucie Arneaz and comedian Chuck McCann. Since 2001 Rich has been performing Stand Up all across the Country. He is also a regular on the New York City Comedy Circuit .His amazing crowd work and hysterical take on life and current events make him a favorite and a must see act.

RICH CARUCCI

Brad has been seen on HBO, Comedy Central, HBO's Def Comedy Jam and was a cast member on "The Apollo Comedy Hour". Brad has been nominated for Comedian of the Year four times and has been seen on A & E's "Caroline's Comedy Hour" and CBS's "Star Search." He has also opened for acts such as Chris Rock, Tommy Davidson and Adam Sandler. James Mac is a Veteran Stand Up working in the NYC tri-state area. He has traveled all over the world and brings those unique experiences to the mic. James has been featured on multiple national podcasts, festivals, clubs, and shows all over the US.

BRAD LOWERY

Linette has been a performer all her life. She played the french horn, sang in the choir and acted all the way from grammar school through college. After graduating from Fordham University it was time to fulfill her military obligation. Linette is a Major in the US Army and has deployed overseas three times. Linette's comedy draws on her life as a mom, wife and veteran. She has performed at clubs and festivals all over the United States, and internationally. From Iceland to Hong Kong and for the troops in Iraq, Linette has seen it all. She has opened for some of America's best comics including Dave Attell, and Carole Montgomery. She was one of five nationwide finalists in the HBO Latino Stand-up Competition, wepaaaa! And, most recently, she earned the top block as Jersey's Funniest Female.
